Easy access for visitors
Time-limited web links
A web link can easily be sent in a regular email and does not require the recipient to download an app or create an account. When you click on the link, you will be taken to a page with a button for each door that you have the right to open. The buttons are only available for the period of time set by the administrator, which can be anything from a few minutes to several months.
Since anyone who has access to the link can open the doors, the security level of this solution is not very high, comparable to QR codes, but in many situations this is still quite sufficient.
Time-limited codes
It is easy to create a code that opens one or more doors during a period. The code can then be sent to a visitor via email or SMS, for example. The visitor enters the code on the card reader and lets himself in. Once the time period has expired, the code stops working.
Time-limited cards or key fobs
For visitors who need temporary access for a longer period, it may be appropriate to hand out a card or key fob. With Telcred, it is easy to set a time limit, for example every Tuesday during 3-6 PM, directly on a card or key fob without having to register a user or assign roles to the user. The log shows the name of the card or key fob instead.
