Monitor and react to events
“Triggers” define interesting events
By defining “triggers”, specific events can be monitored in order to react to them. Events can be, for example:
Door alert: door forced open or door left open
That someone opens a door remotely during a certain time of the day or the week
Hardware goes offline or comes back online
Send notifications and execute commands
When the conditions for a trigger are met, the system can send a notification about this via email, SMS, or directly to another system, for example an alarm system, via an HTTP request.
In addition to sending notifications, the system can react to a trigger by executing one or more commands. This could be, for example, activating an IO port on the hardware or changing the settings for one or more doors.
Trigger from card reader or mobile app
It is possible to send notifications or trigger commands by entering a special code on a card reader. For example:
- Dial *511 to activate night locking and burglar alarm
- Dial *512 to remove night lock and burglar alarm
- Dial *611 to unlock a door
- Dial *612 to allow the door to return to scheduled locking
- Dial *999 for distress alarm
It is also possible to trigger notifications and commands from Telcred’s mobile app.

Monitor and react to events
React to system events by sending a notification or executing a command. For example, it can be useful to receive an email if a door goes offline or someone remotely opens a door at night.

Commercial real estate
Make the access control system part of the property’s infrastructure and offer tenants “Access Control as a Service”. The tenant does not need to acquire an access control system, and the property owner can create new revenue streams while reducing administration.
A solution for the entire property — both common doors and apartment doors. The residents manage their own access rights via the Telcred Home app and the intercom is replaced by remote opening from the app.
